Product Description:
Epoxy wear-resistant paint is a two-component, high-solid epoxy paint containing glass flake pigments. The paint film is strong, wear-resistant and water-resistant.
Product Usage:
It can be used for steel structures in harsh environments where corrosive atmosphere and mechanical wear coexist. The coating has excellent anti-corrosion and wear resistance. Used to protect steel structures in various corrosive environments, including: splash zones of offshore structures, decks and water areas, pile structures, pile structures, paper mills, bridges and chemical plants.
Physical Parameters:
Colors: Limited
Volume solid content: 70±2%
Standard film thickness: Dry film: 200 microns Wet film: 260 microns
Theoretical coating rate: 2.7㎡/kg 3.85㎡/L (based on 200 micron dry film)
Actual Coverage Rate: Consider Appropriate Loss Factors
Flash point: 28±2℃(after mixing)
Construction Instructions:
Surface Treatment: The performance of this product depends on the degree of surface treatment. The surface to be coated must be clean, dry and free of contaminants. Prior to application of paint, all surfaces were assessed and treated in accordance with ISO8504:2000 standards. Accumulated dirt and soluble salts must be removed. Accumulated filth is usually best removed with a dry-bristle brush. Soluble salts are removed by flushing with fresh water. Oil and grease should be removed in accordance with SSPC-SP1 solvent cleaning standards.
Sand blasting:
Sand blast cleaning to Sa2.5 (ISO8501-1:2007) or SSPC-SP6 standards. If oxidation occurs between sandblasting and application of this product, the surface should be sandblasted again to the specified standard. Surface defects exposed by the sandblasting cleaning process should be polished, filled, or treated using other appropriate methods. Recommended surface roughness is 50-70 microns.
The substrate temperature should not be lower than 10℃, and should be at least 3℃ higher than the air dew point temperature.
Mixing: This product comes in two cans to form one unit. It must be mixed in pairs at one time according to the prescribed ratio every time, and used up within the prescribed mixing period.
(1) Stir the base ingredients (A) with a power mixer
(2) Mix all the curing agent (B) and base material (A) together and stir thoroughly with a power mixer.
