Product Description:
Crafted from a blend of epoxy resin, non-carbon electrostatically conductive materials, and additive solvents, our product stands as a cutting-edge two-component ring coating. Designed to meet stringent industry standards, it offers exceptional performance and reliability in a variety of applications.
Product Usage:
Primarily formulated for devices demanding anti-static properties, our product finds its niche in safeguarding the inner walls of petrochemical storage tanks. With its unique composition and advanced technology, it provides effective protection against static electricity buildup, ensuring the safety and integrity of critical equipment and storage facilities. Whether in industrial settings or commercial applications, our product offers peace of mind and unparalleled performance in the face of dynamic operational challenges.
Physical parameters:
Color: light gray
Volume solid content: 72±2%
Standard film thickness: dry film: 100 microns, wet film: 138 microns
Theoretical coating rate: 4.7㎡/kg 7.2㎡/L (based on 100 micron dry film)
Actual Coverage Rate: Consider Appropriate Loss Factors
Flash point: 27±2℃(after mixing)
Construction Instructions:
Surface Preparation: All surfaces to be coated should be clean, dry and free of contamination. Prior to painting, all surfaces should be assessed and treated in accordance with ISO 8504:2000 standards.
If there is grease, it should be cleaned with solvent to SSPC-SP1 standards. The steel surface is blast treated to Sa2.5 (ISO8501-1:2007) or SSPC-SP6 standards. If oxidation occurs on the steel surface after blasting but before application of this product, the surface should be reblasted to the specified visual standards. Surface defects exposed during blasting should be ground, filled or treated in an appropriate manner.
Check that the primer surface is clean, dry, and free of contamination and zinc salts before applying this product. Make sure the zinc-containing primer is completely cured before applying other paints.
The substrate temperature should not be lower than 10°C, and should be at least 3°C higher than the air dew point temperature.
Mixing: This product comes in two cans to form one unit. It must be mixed in pairs at one time according to the prescribed ratio every time, and used up within the prescribed mixing period.
(1) Stir the base ingredients (A) with a power mixer
(2) Mix all the curing agent (B) and base material (A) together and stir thoroughly with a power mixer.
